We have a superb site chosen for this year in the heart of one of the most beautiful areas of our country. Castles galore to visit and don’t forget the Whisky Trail, many distilleries are in easy reach of Milton of Crathes.
9th July to 1st August we will be at Milton of Crathes, near Banchory on the A93, between Royal Deeside and the Granite City of Aberdeen. Grampian’s jewel in the crown with something for everyone – walking, cycling and public transport near.
The site is on the banks of the river Dee, has a bus stop at the entrance for trips to Aberdeen or Banchory of Braemar. There is even the Deeside steam train just outside the site which we hope will be open for trips this year.
Crathes Castle and its beautiful grounds is a short walk from the site with plenty of things to do there for children and adults. Plus it has a really fine cafe, worth the walk just for one of their scones or cakes.
Visit Balmoral Castle or various highland games, whisky trails abound, and it is an easy drive to the Granite City (Aberdeen) for museums, art gallery and the characterful Old Town.
17/18 July is the Royal Deeside Motor Show a new addition to Scotland’s motor show events calendar, attracting over 5,000 per day to the beautiful surroundings of Kincardine Castle and Estate within a COVID-compliant setting. Enthusiasts are invited to join us at Kincardine, to be thrilled by the largest gathering of rare motors, including performance, classic, retro, contemporary, agri, leisure and heavy haulage, spanning motorcars, motorbikes, campers, 4x4s, tractors, HGVs and so much more! Below is a link to the show details, a weekend of fun just a short drive from the site.
Most important point of all – just come and enjoy our Scottish hospitality.
We look forward to meeting you.
