Our program for 2018:
30 March – 2 April McLeod Park, Portknockie, flat site on the edge of the village with spectacular views over the Moray Firth. This is our Easter fun meet with a social in the hall on Saturday evening. Bring along your bonnets for the parade on Sunday.
1 April – AGM at McLeod Park at 2pm. Come along and bring your membership cards so that you can vote on any decisions
13 to 15 April Portsoy Campsite, Portsoy Short walk from the historic harbour.
29 June – 13 July THS at Brechin Equestrian Centre. Level field, good for motorhomes with bus stop just outside gate. On the edge of town, across the road from Brechin Castle Garden Centre, spoil yourself with breakfast at the coffee shop – served from 9 till 11.30 am. Good dog walks nearby, short walk into the town, only 10 miles from the coast.
13 July – 5 Aug THS at Milton Events field, Crathes near Banchory. Grampian’s jewel in the crown with something for everyone – walking, cycling and public transport nearby. Visit Balmoral Castle or various highland games, whisky trails abound. It is an easy drive by car, or take the bus, to the granite city of Aberdeen for museums, art gallery and the characterful Old Town. Finish off your holiday at the Aboyne Games on Saturday 5th.
14 – 16 Sept Knockdhu Distillery near Huntly. Beautiful spot within the grounds of the distillery. There will be a tour of the distillery finishing off with a whisky, or gin, tasting. There will be socials in a hall on Friday and Saturday evenings. This meet is our FOL, the theme this year is “Winter” so decorate your window, bring appropriate fancy dress and join in the fun. Places are limited so please book early.
12 – 17 Oct Foresterseat Campground near Forfar. Lovely campsite withe full hook-up, shower blocks etc. The caravan park is set in lovely countryside with superb views, there is a children’s play area with a separate ball games area. Booking is advised as we only have a set number of spaces.
